What can I do and I’m just one man? What can I do and I’m of such limited means? Most
people are familiar with these types of questions, they are the kind of questions that come up when something is out to
test them, and the mind asks this when it seeks to justify the urge not to do
something, the fact is that there is only one right answer, and that is YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN
and the only way to find out is by trying. Most people don’t realize that the more
they persist in argument with themselves,
the more they are filled with doubt and the more likely they are to hold back their
strengths and various potentials. The sad thing about this of course is that
time moves on still, and before they know
it, they are old and unable to change the world or their life anymore. Worse,
they lose the chance to develop, grow and to become the person they are meant
to be.
Becoming decisive in life requires deciding to do the
uncomfortable, it requires daily practice and being mindfulness about it. It requires knowing that sometimes you only
get one shot in life and you don’t want to be that guy or girl who will
hesitate when that one shot comes your way. You want
above all to be prepared, to ride your chance to success unapologetically. You would want to try.
Why don’t you know what could happen? Its because you are
yet to reach the edge of your potential and you probably never will because you
cannot possibly exhaust all the many ways that you can improve your life. Everyday is literally a new day.
Todays two rules are
Persist in action not in argument with yourself
Practice Decisiveness
